Notice from the University of Kurdistan's Nutrition Department
Dear Students,
In light of the recent unscheduled holidays and the virtual delivery of some classes, and to prevent any infringement upon students' rights and to facilitate better management of meal services, adjustments have been made to the meal reservation and cancellation process in the university's automated nutrition system. The details of these changes are as follows:
Meal Cancellation and Credit Refund:
To provide greater flexibility and avoid unwanted charges, you may now cancel your lunch and dinner reservations for the following day until midnight (24:00) each day. The cost of the canceled meal will be credited back to your student account.
Please note that the meal reservation process remains unchanged.
Availability of "Forgotten Meal" Vouchers:
A) For students on medical leave:
To support the health and well-being of our students, those who are unable to attend the dining hall due to a medical diagnosis can receive an unlimited number of "forgotten meal" vouchers without any penalty until the end date specified in their medical note. The original doctor's note must be presented to the dormitory supervisor.
B) "Forgotten Meal" Vouchers for other students:
To ensure order and fairness in service delivery, effective December 13, 2025, other students (not on medical leave) can receive up to three "forgotten meal" vouchers per meal type per month (a total of six meals per month). A fee of 10,000, 25,000, and 45,000 Tomans will be deducted for the first, second, and third vouchers, respectively.
